England’s star striker Harry Kane has set a new personal record for most goals scored in a season. Playing in his debut season for famous German football club Bayern Munich, the 30-year-old showed incredible ability, scoring 42 goals in various competitions.
This success surpasses his previous best of 41 goals, which he achieved while playing for Tottenham in the 2017-2018 season. It is worth noting that Kane’s goals were the result of excellent teamwork and his personal skills.
In his first goal he showed skill, shooting accurately from nine yards. In the second half, he demonstrated his decisive ability by successfully converting a penalty. These goals allowed Kane to overcome an important milestone – he now has 400 goals for club and country.
Kane has also proven his versatility, scoring goals against 16 of the other 17 Bundesliga teams. This successful achievement puts him on a par with such famous football players as Gerd Müller, Ailton and Robert Lewandowski.
Additionally, Kane became the first player to record a goal or assist against all 17 teams in his debut season. He even managed to assist against Freiburg in October, despite failing to score in that match.
Despite suffering a knee injury in the second half, the Three Lions captain continues to fight hard for new records. He is just six goals shy of Lewandowski’s record 41 goals in a Bundesliga season. He has three more games until the end of the season to try to break that record.
Explaining his prospects and motivation, Kane said: “It’s possible, but obviously I need to move on. Maybe next week I need to score a few goals. The record is within arm’s reach.”
