The Stranglers will headline the GuilFest music festival after a ten-year hiatus

After a ten-year hiatus, the GuilFest music festival, known for its unique collection of the world’s greatest bands, is back again. This time, festival audiences will be happy to see the famous band The Stranglers on stage as headliners.
This great musical event is scheduled for the last weekend of June and will take place in the picturesque town of Guildford, located in Surrey. This city was not chosen by chance, because it was here that the band The Stranglers, then known as the Guildford Stranglers, was founded more than half a century ago, in 1974.
The Stranglers, rightly regarded as Guildford’s “local heroes”, will perform at GuilFest as part of their 50th anniversary tour of the UK and Europe. This event will certainly be one of the highlights of the festival.
Festival organizer Tony Scott is looking forward to the return of GuilFest. He shared his excitement about the revival of the festival, noting that GuilFest has always held a special place in the hearts of many people. The festival program includes several excellent performances that will undoubtedly brighten up the event.
But The Stranglers are not the only stars who will light up the GuilFest stage with their performances. Together with them, viewers will be able to enjoy the work of such famous artists as Sam Ryder, Black Grape, Nouvelle Vague, The Blockheads, The Skints. In addition, the festival organizers have created a special stage for local bands to support and promote local talent.
In general, the upcoming GuilFest promises to be a real holiday for all music lovers, connecting artists of different generations and genres. After a long break that began in 2014, the festival is ready to once again delight the audience with bright and unforgettable performances.
