British heavyweights Fabio Wardley and Fraser Clarke will meet in a fight for the British and Commonwealth titles

The upcoming bout, which takes place on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024, at the O2 Arena in London, will pit British heavyweights Fabio Wardley and Fraser Clarke for the British and Commonwealth titles.

Wardley and Clarke have been preparing for this fight for a long time, which is called “Bad Blood”. The meeting was highly anticipated as Wardley was first ordered by the British Boxing Board of Control to defend his British title, which he has held since November 2022, in May last year. However, Clarke pulled out of the auction late, causing great disappointment among boxers and fans.
Promoter Ben Shalom is confident Clarke, a 2020 Olympic bronze medalist, is ready for the fight. He insisted that Clarke fight at least one 10-round fight before taking on Wardley for 12 rounds. Since then, Clarke has had several successful fights, including wins over veteran heavyweight Mariusz Wach and Dave Allen.
All eyes are now on Clarke as he prepares to take on Wardley, the undefeated WBA British and Continental heavyweight champion. Wardley, a 29-year-old boxer from Ipswich, has 17 wins with 16 knockouts. While Clarke, who only turned pro in December 2021 after a lengthy amateur career, has just 8 wins with six knockouts.
The undercard will begin around 6:00 pm, with the main event expected to begin around 10:30 pm. As always, these exact dates are subject to change. In the UK, Wardley v Clarke will be shown live on Sky Sports.
This fight promises to be an exciting and action-packed event for all boxing fans as both these boxers have huge potential and are looking to win.
