David Raya, Arsenal FC goalkeeper, wins the Premier League Golden Glove

The Premier League Golden Glove award goes to Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya. This was made possible after the Luton man fired a shot past Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford in Friday’s latest game.
Raya went 14 games without conceding in 29 matches this season after joining Arsenal on loan from Brentford in the summer.
Jordan Pickford, who played in Friday’s match against Everton, was the last goalkeeper to beat Raya in the race for the Golden Glove. However, his chances of victory were dashed when Elijah Adebayo scored for Luton to equalize in the 31st minute.
Pickford, an Everton and England international, is now two games behind Raya without conceding a goal, with two games remaining. At best, he can only catch up with Raya.
Raya joined Arsenal on a season-long loan from Brentford in August, sparking speculation. At that time, the Gunners already had a permanent goalkeeper – Aaron Ramsdale, who played all 38 matches of the previous season, keeping 14 clean sheets.
However, despite the not very successful start to the season, Raya showed an excellent game. He became the team’s hero in March, saving two penalties to help Arsenal beat Porto and reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
David Raya has missed just two league matches this season since joining Arsenal in September, leaving him unable to play against his former club Brentford. Ramsdale came on in his place in those two games and Arsenal won both times.
